Tasting Notes

La Loupe is a very approachable, fruit-driven red made from Grenache, grown in the Mediterranean vineyards of the Languedoc, an area well known for its ideal climate conditions. It is hot during the day and cooler at night enabling the vines to mature fruit well, whilst the Mistral and Tramontane winds help keep the vines healthy and low-yielding. Modern winemaking ensures ripe summer fruit flavours are well balanced. The nose is peppery with herbal scents and juicy ripe fruit flavours typical of the Languedoc, together with a smooth texture and supple, mouth filling finish
