Cotes de Bourg Chateau Sauman 2016

Located in Villeneuve on the clay and chalky soils of the Gironde`s right bank, Chateau Sauman has been the Braud family property for five generations and used as a holiday location until the 1900s. At 25ha the estate is relatively small and winemaking is traditional using oak vats and thermal regulation to vinify each variety separately

Tasting Notes

A fleshy, supple and rounded wine from the right bank of the Gironde which has an alluring sweet red fruit bouquet. Raisiny Merlot predominates on the palate with concentrated ripe black fruits flavours. Well structured with soft tannins filling out the palate and leading onto a long and intense finish
