The Médoc region stretches from the city of Bordeaux, following the gravel and clay soils of the west bank of the Gironde River all the way to the coast, some 100 miles further north. It encompasses the superior sub-region of Haut- Médoc to the south. Within that sub-region, there are further communal or village appellations, namely Listrac and Moulis, and the four great names of St. Estèphe, Pauillac, St Julien and Margaux

Tasting Notes

The Chateau la Pigotte Terre-Feu is situated in the north of the Medoc and has been family run for 80 years. This 50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon is a bright ruby red in colour with notes of fresh redcurrants, plums and bramble fruits, a subtle mineral note combines with sweet spices and soft tannins on the finish
